About me

I’m Brooke the owner and primary doula at Significant Birth Co. I’m a mama of two girls and a wife to my husband of 10 years. My first pregnancy was during the height of the pandemic and was not the dream pregnancy I had imagined with the world shut down. I had big plans of having an unmedicated birth and to my surprise I ended my birth with an unplanned caesarean. The experience left me confused and disappointed with no real answers as to why it happened. I spend the next three years studying birth to try to find healing and understanding. When I got pregnant with my second I could sense God leading me to become a doula so I could share the knowledge I acquired for the last three years and more importantly so moms could feel the love and support they need during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
